And it continues...
Gaston Glock began his professional journey with polymers and metals in 1963, just outside of Vienna. In 1981, GLOCK Ges.m.b.H was founded, and a profound series of engineering feats were on their way to being realized – accomplishments that would ultimately lead to the G17 and the redefinition of the modern pistol. Mr. Glock established the United States subsidiary, GLOCK, Inc., in 1986 and his pistols have become the sidearm of choice for over 65% of the law enforcement agencies across the country.
Mr. Glock’s commitment to the pursuit of perfection in every facet of design, engineering, and manufacturing has firmly established GLOCK pistols as the standard by which all others are compared.
The Gaston Glock edition of the 30th Anniversary G17 Gen4 includes his signature inlaid in gold on the top of the slide. GLOCK, Inc. is proud to present the pistol to our founder in recognition of the impact that Gaston Glock’s pistols have had in the United States over the last 30 years.
